When Victrex introduced the specialized VICTREX CT™ polymer family for critical sealing applications in cryogenic environments, they partnered with trusted polymer processors to test the new material grades.

Fluorten accepted the challenge and injection moulded the polymers into parts which then underwent performance and mechanical testing. Based on these initial tests, Fluorten manufactured VICTREX CT™ 100 and VICTREX CT™ 200 sleeves for customer applications. Tests confirmed the materials’ high performance in harsh environments and consequently validated the Fluorten injection moulding process.
